Who is bladder and bowel service for adults for?
This is a service for anyone over the age of 18, who is registered with a GP in Harrow, and has complex bladder and bowel conditions.
What does the service provide?
The service provides an assessment by a specialist nurse who will offer advice and management options such as:
- Lifestyle advice
- Pelvic floor muscle training
- Bladder retraining
- Medication
- Appliances
Once your treatment is complete, or should you require ongoing treatment or investigations, we will inform your GP providing full details of our assessment and management of your condition.
How do I access the service?
Access to the service is through a referral from a GP, or other relevant health professional such as community nursing or physiotherapy.
Clinics are offered at the following sites and home visits can be made to housebound patients:
Alexandra Avenue Health and Social Care Centre, 275 Alexandra Avenue, Harrow, Middlesex, HA2 9DX
Belmont Health Centre, 516 Kenton Lane, Kenton, HA3 7LT
This service is provided by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) and is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
