Who is the ADHD Service (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) for?

The ADHD service is for adults aged 18 and over who are registered with a Harrow GP and have suspected Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) conditions.

What does the service provide?

This is a Consultant Psychiatrist led ADHD service which assesses and diagnoses patients with ADHD and manages their treatment. The aims of the service are to provide:

  • Robust pathways of care for all new and previously diagnosed patients
  • An equitable and accessible consultant-led service for all adults newly presenting with symptoms of ADHD
  • Early diagnosis, intervention and prevention for those who have never had a diagnosis in childhood
  • Medicine reviews and management of complex patients' support in relation to screening, initial assessment and prescribing difficulties

How do I access the service?

Referrals can be made by your GP or CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service).
The service is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
